City Art Blocks

The first of three napkins serving as inspiration for our work. This colorful grid lends itself to so many interpretations. Use a little color or a lot? Use a grid or not? Focus on just a few colors or the lot? These are the questions that needed answering. This is the napkin,  a bit of Mondrian, perhaps. 

 And these are the quilts. It's always interesting to see how each artist answers the call. Each is an 18 inches square.
